Humanhood

Social anxiety is something most of us will experience in our lifetime and hold us back from connecting with one another. Humanhood aims to help us understand and overcome our anxiety so that we can better connect with one another. The brand of Humanhood aims to symbolise connection, hope, change and positivity in a topic that is often surrounded with heavy imagery and focus on negativity. The newsprint helps us understand not only what is social anxiety and how it effects us but also how common it is, where it comes from and most importantly how we can tackle and manage our own anxieties. The game then can be used as a tool to face our fears of vulnerability and embarrassment. A roll of a dice will decide whether you will have to be brave- complete a silly and slightly embarrassing dare, be open – answer a question about other players, or be honest – confess something about yourself. The deck of cards range from silly questions to more serious personal ones. The game uses to idea of play to help us face our fears and anxieties. As children we rarely experience social anxiety and find it easy to connect with one another but as we grow older we can often get wrapped up in our anxieties and fears that we forget how to really connect with each other.
