Crowning Glory

The hairdressers as a space is something that we all missed in recents months since the lockdown of 2020. This space brings all kinds of people and characters together under one roof and is often not only a place for haircuts but a place of meeting, chatting, opening up and relaxing amongst other things. It is a place of comfort for many, young and old, a place where you can unwind, talk about real life issues and trust that they won’t go beyond the four walls. This video aims to capture the beautiful interactions of hair professional and their clients, in all moments of life. The video highlights the fact that the closing of salons doesn’t just affect our regrowth but our self esteem, our confidence and for some, our means of communication. While the curls and waves of the hair create a temporary, unique set of letters that cannot be replicated in the same way again.
