Typographic Notes: The Empowerment of Music

The aim of this project is to motivate people to discover more about the ecological and climate crisis through music, in order to challenge the behaviour towards those issues. In celebration of both Earth Day and in anticipation of the 50th anniversary of Marvin Gaye’s album, I created a campaign for Friends of the Earth organisation. The solution focuses on attracting the audience and directing them to their existing platform. It has a great variety of resources to help them on their journey of becoming part of the solution to a healthier and greener world. The campaign features physical and digital elements. Physical aspect celebrates and interprets the music. It encapsulates the issue of plastic pollution and its effects on the ecological and climate crisis. With the use of a hashtag #MercyMercyMeTheEcology people can search and share the champaign to rediscover the song in a whole new light. Video link: https://youtu.be/TNieBbkFsIo
