‘Good Vibes Only’ explores our relationship to failure and the actions we take to avoid and hide our failures. Self-help books and self-help gurus have never been more popular. This project is a satirical take on self-help culture. It examines how we refuse to accept that we are struggling because, after all, “other people have it worse”, right? It explores the ways we are so easily influenced by eye-catching advertisements and the ways we are forced to consume them.
